Old AC gauge to check fuel pressure?

Old AC gauge to check fuel pressure?
I have an old set of A/C gauges. Can I hook one upt to the schrader valve on the fuel line and get an accurate pressure reading (at idle)?
If it will work, I'll do that temporarily until I get a permanent gauge into the cab.
