I have heard of this after an oil change on some trucks, but no one has described what you are experiencing. I have never had an odor at all, but I don't run dino oil. :

Chris

Check the hood seal. Its probably letting the smell in the cowl. I relocated the oil collection bottle to under the cab. No more smell or oily motor.

I'll get it occasionally on mine. Kind of freaks me out. Keep thinking I blew something. I changed over to Rotella oil and I haven't had that smell since.

I get the oil smell fairly strongly in the cab for about 500 - 1000 miles following oil changes, on both Delo 400 and with Amsoil. But never any other times.

Tom

Re:Oil smell in cab

well I put to and to together. When I installed my afe mega cannon I put a 3 inch hole in the bulkhead. above the pcm. And I guess that when I hit 100 mph. Their might be some pressure in the engine compartment and it vents in to the hole and in to the heater box air inlet. thanks for everyones replay.
