oil sending unit

2001 Dodge 2500HD, 24 valve diesel turbo 313000 miles
I had a recent diagnostic done and no error codes but technition found a small oil leak coming from my oil sending unit
Is there a good source for finding a replacement or remedy.
I add a quart of oill about once every 3 months so its a small leak, maybe a broken or cracked seal or gasket??
Its a great truck with very few problems since buying new in 2001

***I called a dodge dealer and they quoted 1200.00 for part alone plus installation....2000.00....ouch

I bought an OEM sender for my early 98 12 valve from a dealer two years ago and he charged me around $75.

You can get genuine Cummins, or aftermarket here:

If the sender is still functioning, just replace the o-ring....I'm on my third sender since 43,000 miles. I source the Cummins part from the local marine dealer,, IIRC it's about $90 (pre biden) just record your CPL number off the engine tag so you get the right one...
