Cross Ref. P/N of Oil Pressure Sending Unit
I'm looking for anyone that can tell me and post for others...the part numbers for the infamous oil pressure sending unit problems.
My OEM unit had P/N 3348749 by Mopar.
The OEM unit has three pins.
I've heard Cummins replacement P/N is 4088390 can anyone verify this?
Also, will a P/N 3080406 work...it looks very similar and has three pins
or P/N 3408428?
Mopar's new replacement for the original unit is P/N 5012991AC but I understand this requires "flashing" the ECM and it basically turns the gauge into an "idiot light"...true?
Any help?
Mine is a 1999 24 valve Cummins ... don't know how to tell if it's an N or L or whatever...which seems to matter on some guages...any help?
