OIL Sender in IAT Location

Too tired, too annoyed and I replaced my ailing OP sensor. Unfortunately I put the new oil unit in the IAT location...you can stop laughing now!! Anyway, I drove the truck a few miles before I realized what I had done. What might I have messed up?? I am concerned I may have set some irritating code. Any ideas? I can't beleive they look the same.

Tommorrow I will tackle the real OP location. Looks like it is a little tougher to get to...figures....

Thanks!

Tim

I'd have your truck scanned with a scanning tool, before you do anything else. They can do it at most auto parts stores, most of the time for free.

Maybe not IAT??

Found some pics of the IAT on Genos. Thats not what I swapped. The sensor was on the drivers rear of the engine in the location shown for the IAT on the engine diagram but this item was perfectly clean and looked identical to the oil sensor (no extension like an o2sensor). It may be a boost sensor, but the location is confusing me. Three wire pressure sensor high on the engine to the rear of my boost guage tap. The symptom which triggered me realizing I had erred was a lack of fueling when rolling into the throttle from stop. I will have the codes pulled ASAP. NOT the way to start the week...
