oil pressure pegged

oil pressure pegged

my oil pressure is pegged out at 3/4 of the gauge. has been for a little while now and won't move worth crap. it started failing and saying zero pressure, but now it just doesn't move. is it just a replace the pressure sensor or can it be somethin else in there??? preciate it yall

About a month ago mine all of a sudden dropped to 0. It was just the oil pressure sensor. $200 later it was fine.

If I remember right I think Scheid is selling them for $90. I need to get one for my truck it hasn't worked for a while. Those senders must be a common problem cause almost every one I know with a 98-02 Cummins has had one go out.

It's the sender. GM has had trouble with theirs years ago too.
