oil breather relocate TSB??s

i am now having this problem with the oil dumping out when going down a steep incline. has anyone had this TSB done? i dont know if i want someone pulling my injection pump off and screwing it up. is there a possibility of something going wrong having this done? is it worth it? i work on a ski hill and have to take my truck up and down it sometimes, and ya know..... i just cant stay away from the steep parts

Matter of fact.... I've got the same problem and just fix it myself for about $8.00 !!!

I figured a way to re-route the breather tube over the top of the engine and down the back by the bell housing. So far it don't spill any oil out.

I used:

6 Foot of 1/2" PVC Pipe
4 - 90 degree elbows
6" of 3/4" Hose
1 - Hose Clamp

The PVC is running beside the valve cover on the intake side all the way back to engine hoist eye. It elbows toward the driver side fender for about 6-7 inches and the elbow down to the ground. If you want I can send you my email address so I can send you a picture of the design...

Also I get to add more to the signature... I'm BOMBing it a little at a time!

Below are two links, the first is for the oil blow-by TSB, and the other is for other TSB's.

Here is a quick pic of the layout I did to relocate the breather system. So far I like it I don't smell oil vapours and I haven't seen any oil spilled yet....

So fare I've been out with it getting firewood on in the hills. I really haven't had a steep angle yet but I did notice a bit of oil dripping out of the tube on my front driveshaft. No puddles left but I think the idea work fair. It not perfect...

I got the smell problem fixed - no longer smell oil vapors.

I got the oil spilling probem changed - no longer spills on the radiator & belts.

No more bottle to dump at oil change time!

Like said before just little drip not much... I think this dripping is the residue left in the tube and the air is blowing it out...
