o/d drive light
I use my button a lot. Over 185,000 miles, got a bit harder to engage. Had to be sure and push button all the way in, or no go.
Replacement button is probably the best priced part on our trucks and made everything like new again.
Only have to breath on the switch now, to lock out OD.

Understood that. But in case it's starting to die, just threw in extra info... for future reference.
I'd live with it also.... if it's working ok after startup.
Been around here a long time and that's a firsts for that particular scenario.
Is the OD actually locked out, or is it just that the light comes on at startup? Suspect the second.
Could just be the dash warrning light display isn't going out when you turn the key on?
