Subject says it all. If I push the clutch all the way to the floor, and hold it there for a second, I can get it to go into reverse without the grind. Or, if I push the clutch in, shift into 2nd, then into reverse, no grind. It has always done this. Question is, is it normal?

Pretty normal. Just touch 1st or 2nd, then reverse. No grind.
