Question NV4500 shifting

i have an 02 5 speed and i have just found the magic of shifting w/o the clutch and i was wondering if that can mess up the clutch

Yup, I can do that with mine too, but don't do it too often. I think it's hard on the synchros, not the clutch.

clutch will be fine. the synchros would see a little more wear than if you were using the clutch. if you remember at what RPMs the shifter falls in place at different speeds for different gears, you could actually have less wear on the synchros...

skipping a gear is what really puts a hurting on the synchros!! like a 1-3 or 2-4 or 3-5 shift...
