I was wondering who has done this. I heard the user Getblown5.9 had done it on a 6 speed but was unable to find the post where he details the swap. some questions I have are:
1. Will it bolt in place of the NV241DLD that is in the truck?

2. Besides changing the end of the drive shaft, does the drive shaft have to be shortended??

3. Any other suggestions that would make the swap easier?? gotchas to look out for???

yes the driveshaft will need to be shortened with a new slip yoke to match the 271
