No start help

Ive been battling a hard start problem for 6 mos. I installed a Vulcan Relocation kit with a new Carter LP. I changed the check valve on the return line at the VP. I carry 12 lbs. fuel pressure at running speed, gauge is mounted at VP, cant really do WOT because I have an 8 ft. plow mounted. But when plowing fuel pressure remains 8-12lbs. Sometimes its starts without problem other times it will start/stall, restart with difficulty. Today started for a few seconds then quit, now will not restart at all.Ample fuel supply at filter. I disconnected the grid heaters and gave it a shot of ether, started immediately but quit.No codes showing. I am baffled, and STUCK,HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!! Truckhas been parked in garage that does not go below 34 degrees. Frank

most likely air in the fuel lines. re check you're connections. are you getting any smoke out of the exhaust.

Is our IP still working like it should? Have you cracked some fuel lines going into the head to see how much fuel comes out of them while someone cranks it over?

Update; Second set of hands not available. After my initial panic and post. I sat down, had a cup of coffee, and thought it thru. Went back out , put some diesel in a spray bottle, took the air box off at the grid heater, sprayed fuel, ran around and cranked, sprayed more fuel, cranked some more, and it started, had to spray fuel for about ten secs. then it took off. Must have been airbound. Still looking for the initial cause but at least now I can get it started. Thanks Frank

Maybe double check all your fittings on your Vulcan kit..might have missed tightening something down, or another simple miss like that.
