No Pulling Power

Jlc on my 01 the fender cut a hole in my boot. It was the Drivers side boot that connects to the intercooler itself.

jlc, When you take the 5er out for the next test run, pay attention to how much fuel you have in the tank. You indicated it started pulling fine the last trip but lost power after a while. Did you start with a full tank? I'm believe my pick-up tube in the fuel tank leaks air into my fuel line after I drop below 3/4 of a tank. Too much air in the fuel will also effect performance (I'm installing a new stand-pipe later next week to correct my problem). If I keep the fuel level above 3/4 the CTD runs like it should. Below 3/4 and I start noticing problems. I also notice my fuel pressure drops about 1/2 lb.
