Tried a search but came up empty...
I'll try to describe this as best I can, Sometimes (not always) if the truck sits for a bit after a short drive, she will not respond to the gas pedal. The engine will remain at idle speed. I can go right to the floor with no response.
It's kind of scary when pulling out onto the road.

The only way I can get it to respond is pull over, stop, and then proceed. (not shutting the engine off)

Any ideas?? 2001 2500 4X4 QC A/T

Try the APPS reset.

OK...I tried the APPS with no improvement. BTW...I happened to look at the go pedal and my truck has a throttle cable.

Any other ideas?

Had the same problem, resetting APPS did not help my situation.

Took it to the Dealer and they confirmed a bad APPS. Dealer ordered a new one under warrenty and they are replacing it tomorrow.
