Was driving to and from jobs the other day when i noticed my heater was not blowing any heat. Looked down at temp. guage it was reading the same as start-up. Checked coolant at home it was just below add. Pulled dipstick out and it had a green tint to it. Neither antifreeze or oil was milky. Only have 110,000 miles on '01 HO. Any advice would be much appreciated

 

probally thermostat they stick had the same problem with my 01 chnged thermostat got heat

green tint. Left over from St. Patrick's day. All is well. Someone turned a river green, so why not oil.

 

Take a sample, send it to blackstone labs, or the like.

Did you feel the oil? Does it feel right? Smell right? Taste... no, just kidding.

 

ya its rotella it feels fine smells like oil and normally anti freeze smells like waffles and i dont smell it ha its just like a green tint i know i put it in and it was light brown
