I went by my local Dodge dealer today to get some MOPAR power steering fluid and guess what, they don't carry it any more and gave me ATF+4 to use in the power steering fluid reservior. The parts guy said that is what they are recommending now and all MOPAR power steering fluid will go away and is being replaced with this part number and fluid.<br>Now being in the Nuclear world, I don't like to mix fluids at all. <br><br>Has anyone else heard of this change?<br><br>If that's the case, I'll go synthetic in the reservoir too.

 

DD, went and bought all my fluids for my tranny, T-case, diffs, and power steering and my Dodge dealer also said they no longer carry PS fluid. The parts guy said they use ATF+4 in the power steering now.<br><br>I'm going to stop at Auto Zone in the morning and pick up some synthetic.<br><br>DB

 

Yep, I would pick up some Valvoline Synthetic or some Royal Purple MAX-EZ... ;D But that's just me...
