New LP Install
New LP Install
Short story: I started having trouble starting my truck when the motor was cold.

I did some research on this forum and read about one poster reporting fuel "bleeding" back past the LP to the tank due to some type of valve inside the stock LP. Checked fuel pressure, etc and decided *** I'll try it.
Called Dave at Diesel Distributors USA and could not have been more pleased with the customer service there. He took the time to speak to me about 20minutes, asking questions, giving advice, etc. At the end I decided not to buy the $500 AirDog I planned to buy and instead bought the $210 in-house kit and a set of gauges from DDUSA.

Delivery was on time according to UPS. Opened up the box and all the parts were pretty daunting. Instruction sheets made it worse until I could actually get some time off work and look at the truck in the daylight. Everything fell into place after that. Total install time to take off the old LP and relocate and install the new LP was about 4hrs including a trip to the parts house. (My kit was short about 1 foot of fuel line. No big deal.) I also took a little longer because I drilled the frame to install the mounting bracket instead of using the fuel line bracket location as the instructions showed. I also skipped the part of taking off the old fuel supply line. This step was unnecessary IMHO.Truck fired right up after install.
All in all I'd say the toughest part was getting my big butt under the hood and taking all the old parts off.
Pros of kit:
1) Everything you need comes in kit.
2) Easy install
3) It worked!!
4) Price + free shipping
Negatives:
1) I could have used a little more fuel line
2) Instruction sheet inadequate
