New lift pump installed
Got a new lift pump at cummins . Installed it and a new filter.
My fuel pressure is 13 lbs now . It was 6psi
Rev it to 2400 rpm and it doesnt go below 12 psi
Is 13 psi ok ? Hell I thought with a new pump id have 15-16 psi
There is a little bit of air in the cab side/glycol line of the isolator . It wont seem to bleed out. Ive re filled the isolator with glycol twice.
Well , New truck for me Lance Camper is on. New oils in everything, new brakes, new isspro fuel guage, new lift pump...
I think im ready to get on the road for a hunting trip!

Just for imfo,,, My banjo bolts had crappy feed holes in 2 of them.
One had .135 holes the other 2 had .120 holes and one of those had a hole that wasnt drilled through all the way with burrs.
I drilled them all out to a about .165 and used a chamfer bit then a small round swiss made chain saw blade file to clean them up.
Put a new fleet guard fuel filter on. What ever the brand the old one that the previous owner put on had little tiny slits in the top plastic piece for the fuel to pass through(very restrictive). It had brown plastic parts.
The fleetguard has way big holes for intering fuel to flow through.

GSP,
No need to worry over a bit of air in the FP line, it'll work just fine.
I would have expected higher pressure form your new LP, but I think this is "normal" from other postings. 13 is way better than 6 and you don't drop past 12 on a draw, that's good.
Mine comes in @ 15 idle, 13.5 cruise/WOT.
Good luck on hte hunt.
