Acceptable LP pressures:

13-15 at idle
10-12 cruising
6-8 at WOT
[/quote]I checked my working pressures and i had 15 at idle,6 at cruise, and 0 at wot... Thats when I realized that the fuel pressure gauge I installed had started to leak as soon as I closed the hood to test drive. I spilled about 2 gallons of diesel all through the shop and neighborhood Ireplaced my fuel filter any way. I cant retest fuel pressure due to leaking gauge but it runs way smoother since i changed the filter.I think new injectors and fuel pressure gauge in cap is a must!!! CANT WAIT ;D

Fueler, I think you meant to type EDM's not DDM's. If so, it is a realitively new process used in making aftermarket injectors. EDM stands for Electrical Discharge Machining. They atomize the fuel better thus resulting in less smoke and more low end power. Go here to read about them. http://mysite.verizon.net/res06gkt/.

I apologize Fueler. I simply screwed up when I put your handle rather than Jimjawz when responding. Do you think he meant EDM's?

Congrats Jimjawz. You done good. You will be grinning from ear to ear. Rip Rook (www.sourceautomotive.biz and DonM (www.f1diesel.com) are the men. For all of you others, Rips sale only goes thru the end of the month. You have one more day. Disclaimer, not affiliated financially with Rip or Don in anyway shape, form or whatsoever, but wish I was. Great knowledge, great product, great prices, great customer service, what else could you ask for.

Thanks a ton Roger. I really cant wait for my new mods. Roger,I see in your profile you have EDM injectors and a comp box, is it way overkill on powerlevel 5 ??? Do your egt temps go through the roof??? I am alittle wooried that i might over heat my head with a stock turbo. Any way thanks.

Jimjawz, don't 2nd guess yourself. As I said, you done good. But...........you are on your way. I notice by your signature that you have a stick. Did I miss where you have upgraded your clutch? If you haven't, you will have to baby it till upgrade. But you asked a couple of questions. Overkill on 5x5? Your sig is not quite clear to me. Do you have a comp with the wire hooked up or not? If you have it hooked up, you will have more fuel than you have air for. I run, even tho my sig doesn't reflect it, a PDRHX3514W. It flows more air than your stock HX. You might have EGT problems. I can peg mine at 1600 in the last 1/8 of a 1/4 mile. But how many seconds is that? 4 or 5. I can live with that. You just have to use your power in short bursts and judiciously. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

Roger
