new inj pump and new lift pump p 0216

new inj pump and new lift pump p 0216

i just replaced the injection pump and lift pump i cleared codes and drove
it again it still has a lil dead pedal and kicked the 0216 code again
fuel pressure is good any ideas on what elese could cause this prob?

It scares me that got code again after clearing. However on one replacement that I did, after three hours of driving it almost died. Cold only figure some trapped air finally worked it's way through pump. Not done now in 20,000 Miles.

check to see you have good clean connections at pump PCM , ECM .apps a dirty contact could cause it. where did the new pump come from?

its was a reman from a certified bosch inj shop
was told it could be a line problem?

That is scary. I would call the place I got the pump from right away. My bet would be, a lemon pump. When I replaced mine and reset the codes, they did not come back.
Mind you, I had to reset the codes using a code reader. Disconnecting battery cables does not clear the 0216.

Good pumps start at $1500 and up.
China cheapies start under $1000.
