Need measurement from a 2wd longbed 5spd

I am getting everything together for the 5 speed swap, but the guy I bought this stuff from gave me too short of a driveshaft. So I am going to take this small shaft to a shop and have them lengthen it to fit. Only problem is I wont have the trans in until fri night/sat morning and they close at five on fridays. So what I need from someone is a measurement of the front part of the two piece driveshaft. From the center of the u joint on the slip yoke to the center of the carrier bearing.

Almost forgot... The truck needs to be 2WD, extended cab, and has to be the NV4500

Please Help! I have to drive this truck back to school sunday night so I really need to have everything before closing time on friday.

Thanks in advance,
Lance

I'd hate to lead ya in the wrong direction, but my NV4500 was 1/2" shorther than 47RE. This is a 4wd application.

I measured several times to confirm this with my swap before I installed, and it proved true once in. I was able to use the old shaft, still plenty of spline on it. Measure the old vs. new if you can, tape measure doesn't lie much.

Ya I have measured them over and over, the Nv is about 6 inches (guesstimate) shorter than the 47re.

The only reason I need measurements is because the driveshaft shop wants me to have the tranny in the truck, but if someone will give me the length I can just have them make it that long.

Thanks for responding gorms!!!
I dont have much luck getting replies anywhere else

Measurements

I'm not a mechanic so I took a couple pics so you can see where I started and ended with the tape. Hope this helps.

You can get a half dozen different measurements from a half dozen trucks. You are better off waiting until you have everything mounted and get the correct measurements. I keep moving a gear vendors overdrive around from truck to truck and in 4 trucks they all used different shafts even if they are the the same basic body. It'll drive you nuts!

Ok thanks guys, I got the auto pulled early this morning and got the five speed in by about noon. Made the measurements and it matched yalls. The bolts I got from fastenal were 40mm and the flywheel bolts need to be 34mm so I cut them all down. Got the flywheel and clutch mounted tonight. Gonna finish it tomorrow. \

Thanks
