need help w/TST PM3!!!

I just finished installing a TST PM3 on a friend's 02' 24-V.

after all the connections were made ( pump wire, 12v, ground, map, did I miss any??) I plugged the 9 pin connector on the wiring harness into the 9 pin connector on the PM3. with the key on & box off got the yellow LED, then turned the box on & had red & yellow LED's, everything semmed alright, I plugged up the R45 remote & we took the truck out for a ride, noticed little or no power gains, but all the lights seem to work properly, the yellow LED grows brighter as boost increases, but the R45 showed a max boost pressure of 26 psi. also the green (fuel) LED will come on as it is supposed to, but it doesn't get brighter the way the yellow (boost) LED does.

I should also add that we didn't install the thermocouple, but in the instructions w/the PM3 it says to tape up the lead wires for the pryo if the R45 is not in use.

I reread the instructions & decided to uninstall the R45 remote & try running just the PM3, but it was the same deal, as w/the R45 plugged in????

also the green fuel LED on the R45 (remote) never came on, but the green LED on the PM3 itself did, it just didn't brighten up ??????? any ideas , I'm thinking it might be related to the cheesy connector sent to tap the pump wire, don't think it's a ground or power wire cuz all the lights are working?????? any ideas, thanks in advance for any info., sincerely , Dusty

Did you plug into the 9 pin bus connector to the pump ( inside the convuluted tubing) black wire with brown stripe as well as the short black wire right at the pump?

Thats what I would try. Sounds like it is not fueling. On mine the green light gets way brighter as it adds fuel. I'm using the power grabber to tap the pump wire and it seems to work great.
I also had a grabber, but unfortunatly had no soldering iron, solder, to connect the grabber to the wiring harness. might try installing the grabber tomorrow & see if it helps, thanks, Dusty
