Last night my tranny started NOT shifting into 2nd. It will eventually, but I need to run the RPM's up to 2500, then I back off the throttle and wait for the shift. All of the other shifts are normal and the T/C locks up normal. Does anyone know what cause's this problem? Is there something I can adjust or repair? Bands? Valvebody? I do have a shift kit I haven't installed yet. If I do, will this help?

Well, I already know the right answer is a complete rebuild. But I need to "band-aid" this if possible fo a month; so as I can get the coin pu together for a Goerends. Thuis truck is my daily driver after all.
