Ihave a 98.5 24 valve heres the deal the truck has good fuel pressure. we put a new vp44 ,injectors,new cam sensors and the truck still wont start .we rig up a fuel line and injector off a 95 and the pump wont pop off the injector.is there something that does not allow the pump put out the right amount of pressure as far as sensors or codes.we put a mac scanner on the truck but the scanner could not communicate.

 

You stated that the pump wouldn't pop the injectors. Are you getting any fuel at all to the injectors?

 

yes it is getting fuel two the injector but just not enough two pop it off could it be we just got bad vp44.

 

Are you trying to use 12 valve injectors in a 24 valve?

 

no no no we are trying to see if it has enough pressure to pop off a injector but it wont.is there something else that would keep it from putting out enough pressure two pop off a injector.

 

do you know if the pop off presure is the same for a 12v and 24v? is the motor turning over fast enough? low batterys? just a thought.
