MY 99 Cummins
I have a hard starting issue with my Dodge, If it sits longer than 24 hours it takes 30 seconds of craning for it to fire up even when outside temps are over 80*. Atter that it fires right up like it used to. I sure could use some help in figuring this out before it gets cold. Thanks Terry

My money is on a leak in a connection anywhere from the injection pump to the fuel tank that is letting air in the system and allowing the fuel to gravity drain back into the fuel tank.
Think old dry cracked fuel lines, loose connections, cracked fuel nipples coming out of the fuel tank, loose banjo bolts, or missing old copper sealing washers. The list goes on.
This problem WILL get worse when it is colder out.
