Question MPG on 2002 DRW with auto and 3.55's?

Anyone know about what can be expected for MPG with and extended DRW that has 3.55's and an auto? This is all highway driving going 70-75 MPH?

I have the same truck. Around town in the summer months I get about 15 to 16 mpg. Highway traveling at 65 to 70 mph around 18 to 19. If I keep it at 65 I can eek out about 20 sometimes. Considering the weight and the fact that it is a brick on the highway, thats pretty good milage.

Only way you're going to see 22mpg on a truck with training wheels is to keep it at 60mph with no hills.

I'd plan on more like 19-20 max, considering it's only 2 wheel drive, if you keep it under 70mph.
(actually, on a dually that is 4 wheel drive )

If you go 75 the whole way, it'll drop like a rock to 12-13mpg.

I don't agree, I have driven a 96 4X4 dually at 2000rpm on many occasions and have netted 20 MPG with 4.10's

I think 12v get inherently better mileage than 24v.
