More FASS questions
Ok we’ve replace (1) LP and (1) VP44 @ 120K miles and since installed a fuel pressure gauge on our 2001 Quad long bed, ISB. Now @180K miles looking into a better mouse trap. Know our luck can only hold so long. We see that the FASS system is probably the best (most reliable on the market) Just not sure if folks are talking the FASS 95-DO-98-04 or the HPFP-95-1002. We understand that the 95 gph is well enough. Stock engine, not pulling a trailer, usually a moderate load or less. Is the HPFP-95-1002 the FASS II system? We just don’t know the part numbers. We understand differences between the original and the II are that the II bolts up better. (Though we do have a stubby 90 degree drill if needed.) Keeping the Stock fuel filter system ok or a bad thing? Love the idea of dumping the LP! Also looks like stock pricing on the 95-1002 pretty much the same from anyone, no bargains out there. Is the DO-98--04 system that much better to justify the extra cost?
Just want to keep it happy and purring!

What??? There are 2 style FASS, one with filter and air seperator, and the other is just a pump! They make a 95 gal. and 150 gal. pump. I run the 150 with both filters!! You can scrap the stock pump/filter.
