misses at start

Howdy all,
After sitting overnight the engine sputters/misses when first started for about 10 sec then goes away and idles and runs perfect. I figure I am getting air into fuel line somewhere.

Does this sound correct? OR a bad injector? No leaks anywhere but a very small hole may not be detectable.

Would this be related to the check engine light issue I posted a few days ago? The light is off but had a TPS code.

Copenhagenjukie

I would hook a fuel gauge up to it, If nothin else hook one up and tape it to the windshield for a couple of days see what your fuel pressure is doing exspecially on a cold start. Also try bumping the ignition {NOT STARTING} on a cold start and listen for the fuel pump to come on, When it does your fuel pressure should come up. Not so sure a TPS is going to do something like that just on a cold start and not give you other problems....But I could be wrong!!!!

Good Luck,

Sounds like air in the lines. Check all your connections. Check your lines to for any cracks or leaks. Also check your FP.

Re:misses at start

Another thing, I talked to guy at a Injector Shop a while back and he was telling me that the pressure relief/return valve on the injection pump was famous for going out...Said he kept them in STOCK. Tells alot there... So if you are seeing low pressure after sitting all night and or lift pump prime you might look that direction.
