Curious, how many, and at what mileage others had to replace APPS or APPS sensor?

Replaced mine at !00K+, not far out of warranty. Now have 412K with no more problems. Wife's truck has over 200K and no problems with the APPS or VP-44, yet!

 

I just replaced both my APPS and my VP at the same time. I have just over 150K. This is the second VP (third including original) but the last one went bad as a result of the idiot who had the truck before me cut corners. Im a college student so thank god I was able to replace both parts with used ones i found in the classified section on this site

 

I installed one yesterday (Timbo's apps) on an 03 it was dirt simple and I believe his truck had 260-290,000kms on it

 

RJ-- I replaced mine spring of last year around 65K on the clock.
