Might need a vp44
I think i might need a new vp44
got the following codes:
P0234
P0251
p0252
P1688
p0121
Truck turns over but never fires up
I have FASS pump only, no filters, have good pressure actually it was a bit high if anything.. 24psi i might have a bad isolator so i'm going to troubleshoot that first before i do anything with VP.
It is a stock 2000 4x4 Auto just have full 4" exhaust , KDP fix, FASS, fuel pressure gauge.
What would you suggest for replacement of VP44 go with a stock rebuild, or something different.. I'm in the cold MN if that makes any difference.
I've seen those +100HP vp44 "Hot Rod VP44" from thoroughbreddiesel

I'd go for a Special X pump from Blue Chip. www.bluechipdiesel.com
I think you're right to verify that fuel pressure. 24 psi is too high.

Those 2 come up the most on the forums. I went with MWFI because performance shop owners who I've observed give good advice recommend them. Blue Chip has good diagnosing info on their site. Same source and local shop also say that hot rod pumps don't last as long. You can get as much extra power with chip & injectors.
