Had the check engine light come on. Pulled code P0112. Intake aire temperature circut low input. Took it the diesel shop in town. They said my IAT sensor was melted. Any ideas what would cause this. I had some surging and blowing tons a black smoke issues about three weeks ago. That seems to have cleared itself up with the help of a generous portion of diesel clean. Any ideas would be great.
