map sensor

I have heard several people talk about cleaning the map sensor.

How do i go about this?

if you know where it is remove it, spray map sensor cleaner on it and reinstall

why do you want to clean it??

I was just wondering my fuel milage has dropped even after a recent oil change and im getting black smoke at upper rpms espically right round 2000-2300 rpms which just strated yesterday

To help with mileage dropping, most folks are removing and cleaning the IAT (Intake Air Temperature sensor) number 7, located near the MAP sensor number 8.

I was just asking i had heard some guys talk about it other places and wasnt for sure. So what is best to clean them with ive heard some say brakekleen but then others say no to it. any opinions on this?
