Question lp?

well to day i got my gages on ... and now im thinking the LP is cr@pping out on me.
last week i had it at the dealer to test it .and deaaler said it was ok ..11psi @idle 58 oz on flow test. to day with the fuel gage all I see is 11 @ idle 8@ cruise and 4@ WOT do i need to put a new one on?

and also on the side of the 6spd there is large NG cast on the side ...could this be a NG5600? or is it a NV5600 which one is better?

Rebal,
If my WOT lift pump pressure was 4psi, I'd put another lift pump on.
The '01 trans list shows an NV3500, NV4500 and an NV5600. No other manual transmissions are listed but that doesn't mean they didn't build some special units. Mine shows an NG cast in too. Those Mopar guys are a squirrely bunch. Who'd ever guess they'd build the 2 baddest cars ever produced in this country...back in '68.

Lift pump is dieing for sure... Just change it out... Also the dealer will only test it once normally... I tested mine about 9 times and 2 of them passed the test the other 7 failed.

Nice car mopar1973man, King Richard used to roll in them...I liked the racin' more back then. I guess that's why the Sportsmen class does so well here, middle & late 70's iron.
Do ya'll need a clue on the very special cars in 1968?

rebal & Clunk,

Thank you for the comment. The car is sitting under a cover shed staying dry. I do start it up once in awhile and move it a bit but... I can't afford insurance on all the rigs right now. She won't light the tire at all.. Got some heavy grunt under her... I've topped out at 145 MPH with it... Freaky ride..
