Angry lots o' codes.....what to do?

i've been having trouble with low power and low mpg.....took my truck to autozone and their scanner only showed PO237 and PO113 which is the MAP sensor and the IAT sensor...well i checked the codes by using the key method and it showed 1492, 1493, and 1693(which is probably the two codes autozone showed).....the 1492 and 1493 are something to do with a battery temp sensor? what the heck is that.....didn't even know my truck had such a thing.....anyway, so should i replace the map and iat sensors? i tried cleaning the iat and it still threw the code.....what about the ?battery temp sensor?

WOW, I'm guessing not.
Anyway, somone will pop up here this evening with the dianostic language for all of your codes (and hopefully for your sake a translation).
What's the aprox age of your batteries?
Ever tired an APPS reset?

One of the battery trays contains a sensor that presses up on the bottom of the battery. It monitors the battery temperature as it charges and will reduce the charge as the battery reaches charge capacity and begins to heat up. It's not a very good system and I always have acid spilling down the sides of mine from overcharging.

Pimpone - I am not sure these are correct, but they seem the same as what you are saying. At least the P0's. I'm assuming the 14's and 16 were P codes too.

P0113 – Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input
P0237 – Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

P1492 – APLSOL solenoid circuit malfunction
P1493 – RCNT solenoid circuit malfunction
P1693 – Turbo charge control circuit malfunction

APLSOL - Accelerator pedal solenoid?
RCNT - I don't know.

As for P1693. I doesn't make 100% sense, but could your truck have a non stock boost elbow or turnbuckle on the wastegate? Seems like the 1693 is the code that others have gotten when they take the EZ off, but leave the wastegate elbow on and then overboost. The computer catches the overboost without the EZ's boost fooler. Maybe the computer thinks that the circuit is malfunctioning allowing the boost to get too high?

As for the cleaning the IAT and the code not going away. Many codes require a set number of key starts to clear a code. Like 50 starts, maybe more for all I know. There are way to clear the codes. But I don't think I'd go that route just yet. But even if you did clear the codes, the problem codes that are there will show back up quickly if not immediately.

I know you say its bone stock. But maybe the guy you bought it from took off the EZ before he sold it, but left the boost elbow on it.

Well, I'd have to take a picture of my stock one. If you really want me to, I'll give it a go, but have never posted a picture on DTR before. I was thinking that guys that actually knew, besides my speculations would speak up.
