Loss of power????

I was driving my truck Thursday afternoon, and all of the sudden , just didn't have any power. I first thought maybe it was the clutch, but it wasn't over-revving, now I'm thinking it may be the Lift Pump after doing some reading. And after reading a little more, I am wondering what to do it I need it replaced. Any good recommendations??

Also, if I am switching out injectors, does anyone have a good recommendation for those. I already upgraded the exhaust to 4" all the way out, instead of the standard 3" stuff. But at 100K and warranty outdated, I am ready to start modding a little, once I get it fixed.

my guess would be that your VP44 is shot (injection pump). it sounds like a case of the good ol "dead pedal". do a search and see if the symptoms are the same as yours. good luck!

Right you were, unfortunately, and with only 10,300 miles on it, Chrysler/Dodge won't do a **** thing about it. They basicallly said, "It's my problem, deal with it." (because it has been more than 12 months)

Just fer grins, squeeze-off the hose to the WG actuator with a pair of vise-grips, then try it.

Been checked, I wish I could say that was the problem, but it ain't, unfortunately. The guy I took it to builds pulling truck engines and such, so he's pretty good with these engines. He was actually recommended by the guys at the dealership and 3 other garages in town.
