losing water
losing water
ok guys i noticed yesterday i was running a little hot i dident worry to much it was 100 degrees stop and go traffic and a/c runnin on high. well this mornin i got out and checked the coolent and it was very low. filled it back up and seems fine. The problem is that i cannot find any leak anywear and i cant see the weep hole on the water pump. Any advice would be great
My truck in the sig has had a strange water leak ever since it was almost new. Nothing major but I would have to add some every few months. Had it pressure tested and even had the head gasket replaced for other reasons but it still seems to be loosing it somewhere. I am assuming it is just the nature of the beast.
There is only 3 place for water to go...
1. Coolant leaking through the oil cooler (coolant in the oil)
2. Coolant leaking past the head gasket (steam in the exhaust / Coolant in the oil)
3. coolant leaking out. (puddle on the floor)
