My truck in the sig has had a strange water leak ever since it was almost new. Nothing major but I would have to add some every few months. Had it pressure tested and even had the head gasket replaced for other reasons but it still seems to be loosing it somewhere. I am assuming it is just the nature of the beast.

Do a pressure test for the head gasket. The gasket might be shot.

There is only 3 place for water to go...

1. Coolant leaking through the oil cooler (coolant in the oil)
2. Coolant leaking past the head gasket (steam in the exhaust / Coolant in the oil)
3. coolant leaking out. (puddle on the floor)
