losing throttle pedal control intermittmently

pump throttle pedal twice, control is restore until next time.
anyone have similar experience and a solution?

Most likely the APPS, or worst case scenario, the VP44 is going south...
Assuming you are talking about your '01.
You can get an aftermarket APPS for about $170

APPS= accelerator pedal position sensor,TPS same thing

1st, scan for codes 0122 perhaps. 2nd, reset apps. Instructions come up easily. 3rd, recalibrate apps to voltage on tag. Those instructions are also available. 4th if needed and you are sure you need one, search timbo apps. His site will come up.

^i agree, 1st thing to do is check codes. I had the same thing, and figured it was an apps, checked codes and got the fatal numbers, turned out to be VP...not to scare ya or anything, id just hate for ya to waste money on unnecessary parts
