It looks like a got a cracked piston on my 02 so i am looking for a long or short block depending on price . was was just getting ready to sell the truck and now this happens . if any one knows and dependable rebuilderlet me know . many thanks

 

I have 6 std for 24 valve (pistons)

 

Just out of curiousity, how did you crack a piston???? EGT's? Boost??

i really dont just yet but the engine has had morethan normal blow by for about the last 6 months about 60000 miles so a ring might have cracked then broke later and who knows and it might not be that bad at this point dont know much yet have gotten it torn down yet
and thumper i will keep that in mind thanks

 

Check ebay there was a block on there the other day, don't know if it is there yet are not.

 

You don't think you could get buy trading it? They might not notice until you're long gone.
