No,, the lift pump cuts in and out with the ecm , it sits at about 11lbs when i bump the key, i think this is within specs.

Im replacing the IP pump AGAIN on wed. my question is is it has too high of fuel pressure wouldnt it hard start all the time not just when its warm?

I had the same problem, hard start when hot. It started shortly after I put the airtex lift pump on. To diagnose, I unplugged the lift pump to see if it would start when hot.( Shut it off immediately if it starts.) Well mine started right up.
I think my problem was too much pressure from the airtex lift pump while cranking. I put a relay in to disconnect the lift pump while cranking. I have not had a problem since.

I've read of folks solving that problem with a fuel pressure regulator set at 15psi .

i have the bd max power pump. i believe it already has the relay to cut the power when cranking , still have hard start when hot.. i will see if the IP was the problem on wed. my LP has a regulator built in ... but its alittle high one shop said 17 the other said 20??they did the trick when they pull the LP and it fired up no problem now they say it might be too much pressure of the IP.

got the injection pump replaced under warrenty and it seems to have fixed the porblem
