lift pump pressure/flow

my lp is getting noisy and I had a couple of hard starts this week, but the fuel pressure is 15.9 at idle and 8.9 at wot? I did have a 0237 code and cleaned the fittings and it went away, but that is low map voltage and shouldn't effect the starting problem.. or can it?

Lastly if this pump craps out I am leaning toward the fass, and good or bad thoughts from guys running the system

checked the return valve spring bolt to specs and it passed, I noticed that when the lift pump is running without the engine the pressure is 17.9 psi after the pump turns off it drops to 1.3 psi in about 10 seconds, i assumed there would be 10 psi or so to help pressure up quicker for start on the next start, or am I wrong?

Is this looking like a Ip? no codes at all not even companion 01689
