Lift pump conversion for 01 shown in parts catalog.
Nope, the guy wasn't overly helpful. I tried to give him the #, but he said he would look into it when he got to my truck
He said there was not a conversion for my truck. Said they have only done one conversion on a newer truck.
Maybe next time there will be more about the in tank conversion.

A lot more explaining and they finally ran the vin, and the guy was like WOW. I guess so.
I also think of that story, when I talk to my friends and they say I should work at a parts counter. I applied and got turned down, but they hire that guy!
Well no luck on the warranty. Of course not, truck is out of warranty by time in service not miles.
I ordered the Intank pump and will be here friday. Hopefully this will fix it. Theye tested the pump, and say the requirement was 1.3L my pump was at 1L (not sure if those are the actual needed flow numbers) The dealer tried to push for the wqarranty repair but of course Dodge with these trouble free lift pumps sees no reason to fix it since I was outta warranty by like 2 months. It cost me 285 shipped to my door. I didn't need the adaptor part, they can check in the "vin" book
Mine is new enough to not need it which that part is on back order anyways.
I'm thinking, the intank with a "custom" Scotty smart fuel system might be a good way to go. We'll see. Now I just reminded my self I gotta PM Scotty!!
