I want to try this fix myself. I have been quoted 5-6 hours labor @ $85.00 an hour to fix. The halves are leaking. If I pull it out and tear it apart are a bunch of springs and gears going to fall out, or is it a pretty straight forward fix. Also is it a one man job with a floor jack. Thanks

 

Maybe do a google search about "NV241 transfer case rebuild." You may find an online tutorial, and all you need to do is split the case and re-seal it.
