Leaky Axle Tubes

The axle tubes on my truck are leaking where they are pressed into the pumpkin and CAD. Does some one have a secret formula for sealing them up?
TIA

First thing is to read your owners manual and make sure the differential isn't overfilled. At some point it changed but on eariler Danas the correct level is below the bottom of the fill hole.
When filled to the bottom of the hole as most people do they have a strong tendency to leak.

Bill
we talked about that before. My axle has taken too much abuse. It is really the worst on the right side, between the CAD and pumpkin. I have to replace the seal on the left side.

Can you weld it? The housing and the tubes are different materials, right?

I know drag racers and rock crawlers weld the tubes to the pumpkins for the added strength.
