Hey all,
I have an '00 Sport 2500 with a manual tranny. I've only had her since May, but she's making some interesting clunking noises since I bought her. I just now figured I'd bug ya'll

Anyroad, she clunks when I get her in gear, she clunks when I'm slowing to a stop, and she clunks when I press the clutch and she's rolling in neutral. The only time I don't hear the metal-on-metal clunking noises (it's not just one clunk, but several in a row), is when she's in 4x. She isn't doing any jerking or anything, just clunking. Any ideas? It almost sounds like the gears hitting against each other, but that's the closest I can get to an analogy of the sound. Maybe it's the driveshaft? She looks fine on cursory look, but I honestly don't know what to look for! And she's not low on fluid...
