Kiss my LP good bye

Well the stock LP died last night at 136K miles. BD low fuel pressure alarm saved my wallet a pounding. Truck really didn't lose power, just lit the LED the more throttle you gave it. So i guess i am going with a full aftermarket setup. Any suggestions? Im thinking Airdog and big line kit. Somebody who has done this please chime in with do's & don'ts and anything you would have done different. I dont want to do this twice.

Back in the first gen for now.

Josh

I am going to try an airtex. Seems like a good in-expensive straight foreward fix.

If you are looking at the AirDog or Raptor, here's the run down.

Both kits have 1/2" lines.

The AirDog 150 comes with a draw tube.

The Raptor is externally adjustable.

All AirDog and Raptor systems have a lifetime warranty.

From what I hear for feedback, these systems are pretty quiet as well.

why does only the 150 come with a draw tube, is the draw tube hard to install, and would I be ok with the 100 or should i go with the 150, I plan mild mods. Also, does this system need/come with a pressure regulator?

The 150 sized bypass pumps could cavitate as they are just moving so much volume through the factory module. The draw tube is not a difficult install. As you do more or see it done, it can be done fast. I recommend a Draw Straw adn -8 line to the inlet of ALL pumps. But the manufacturer recommendations vary from from mine.

The pump has a bypass regulator built in.

If you are going to stay at or below 500HP, I would feel bad recommending the 100. While the 100 will support more HP, why take a chance?
