Key On Key Off what years

Hey What years can you do the key on key off thing and get the codes(bad news). Mine is a 99, I tried it the other day but nothing. Maybe Im doing it wrong---Do you turn the key all the way off???

2000 on up.

You need a code reader for a 99.

Get a code reader....the key on/off trick rarely shows all the codes anyway.

l bought a code reader from checker for about 75.00
it seems to work ok
