Just replace master/slave cylinders. Have a question

I just replaced the master/slave cylinders on my truck with new two piece unit from Dodge. There is a male/female connection where the line from the master connects to the line from the slave cylinder. They went together with a slight snap feel. But they appear to be not all the way connected. It seems to work ok but, I don't feel they are connected all the way. I tried pulling them apart but they are tight. There is a whitish plastic split collar thing on the male part. Looks like that is for disconnecting them? Anybody have this issue? Can someone post a picture of what they look like when they are together correctly?

The master & slave cylinder assembly should have been already assembled & filled. When I replaced mine, it was all one piece. Where did you get the part?

I got the assembly straight from Dodge two days ago. They come pre-filled and bled, but they are now two pieces. It sure makes it easier to put on the truck. Getting the old one piece unit out was a chore.
