Just got mileage max, does anybody else already have one?

I am just trying to get my mileage max installed.
I read on the thing that came with it that there may be a USB update.

Has anybody done this>?????

The last electronic thing I bought for a truck said there was a software update available....when in reality there was no software update..they were just trying to sell me an "upgrade" (bells and whistles + cash extraction) which I did not need or want...But it was sure a pain to go borrow a fast connection to do the software update and then find out it was all hoopla. In my view that does not pass the smell test and I thought I could find out on the diesel forum in 2 seconds flat (well..maybe not quite that fast).

If anybody knows please post and tell me (I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to know).

I already sent and email to their customer service and it came back "fatal error" and I checked the address and it was correct. So that's why I'm hoping someone on here has already went through it and can tell me what is up with it. I am going to install it without trying any web updates, but I would like to know ..nevertheless. So I can bum a fast connection if I need one.

Thank you,
Clay

I keep track of my mileage religiously,...so I will post on here after the 1st full tank and say how many more miles I got out of a tank.

the only upgrade they have for it on their site so far is the upgrade to the xzt+, which will run you $150. I wouldn't worry about it though, I'm sure Quad will come up with something for it eventually, hes just working his butt off to get the new Adrenaline up and running properly and get all the bugs worked out of it.

OK, That's what I was guessing.

I just finished installing it and filled up my tank. So I should know in a week or so (depending on where I end up going) whether it's helping a lot, a little, or not at all. I am hoping it will get me the same
fuel economy as my 93....Or at least get me the same economy when I'm going 75 as I used to get going 55.

getting the same mileage at 75 as you did without the box at 55 is a pretty tall order. I wouldn't expect that much, at least I didn't see that kind of a gain.

Actually, I don't drive 75. I usually go between 68 and 70. I was just yapping.

I'd be happy with anything that is noticeable. I just thought I read somewhere that they used 75 mph as a theoretical target for the biggest improvement.......or something like that.

I did notice a change of 1 mpg with my xzt+ on the timing setting, but I don't watch my driving habits that closely

I'm thinking of getting a max mileage module for towing. I got around 6000 miles of trips planned this year and it would be nice to get an extra 1 or 2 mpg. Has anyone got any feedback on any towing improvements?

I did read thru that thread.. At least I tried too. I know I must have glazed over a few times. And I just went over all of your post, but I don't remember you mentioning if you towed with it or not??

By the way, you've got me depressed now, You mean my mileage is going to increase about the same as it increases when my lift pump is getting close to dead????? A bad lift pump is cheaper. I would go that route if I could regulate it staying "bad" but not "completely shot".
OK,
My 2 cents.
