I just bought a 2002 quad cab 4x4 6 speed long box with 288,xxx from a dodge dealer here in cali for $9000 out the door taX, title ect. has a bullydog system just replaced the injection pump and banjo washers had an aux tank that was removed and the tech inspecting it said that the gauge doesn't work but he has a feeling it is because the aux. tank. the block had a 56 on it does that mean anything? I am newer to the 24 valves my last 4 were 12 valves. its in decent condition after it detailed no rust dents missing tailgate but thats not hard to get. has a spray liner. what are some things I should look out for? thanks

 

56 is good i this means you have the good mexican block. you said that they have just replaced the injection pump but what about the lift pump. I would get that checked out fairly quickly and i would get a fuel pressure guage to just to keep an eye on things. tell me how you like the six speed i have a 2000 5 spd.
