Injector Knock????

I've only had my truck for about a month now and it has started knocking at a certain rpm. It does it througout all gears but not in nuetral just revving the engine. At starts at around 1400-1500 rpms and continues up. I thought it might be a spun bearing but at only 80,000 miles on the ticker it shouldn't be that, also I thought with the spun bearing it should be a constant knock regardless of rpm. I am at a loss right now, there are no codes thrown and fuel pressure is around 10-12 psi at idle and 7-8 at WOT. Im thinking maybe its time for some new injectors and hopefully not a new injection pump. Tomorrow I will be checking the valve lash to rule that out. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

mines been that way for years u kinda get used to it. mine will go away once engine is fully warm, its just the unevenness of each cylinders temps.adjusting valves wont do anything for that.

I thought it might be nothing but it doesn't go away when the engine warms up, infact it gets worse. I plan on upgrading this truck soon and want everything mechanically straight before bombing. There is no powerloss, in fact I am really impressed how much pull this truck has for stock, fuel mileage is about 18mpg in city and 21-22 on highway. Maybe I should quit being such a Sally about my truck and let it rip, lol.

have you checked the valves to make sure that they don't need to be readjusted. it could be rocker knock. mine sounded like an injector knock but it is deffinitly the valves need adjusted

Look for excessive blow by or oil use like 1Q per tank could be a scored cylinder get a compression test and a oil analsis it will tell you if you have anything bad going on as well

usually I do not like to be a dooms day type but it happened to me Scored cylinder broken ring kept driving it (dumb) then dropped a valve

how long do i have to wait to do an oil analysis? I have the kit but I just changed my oil about a 1000 miles ago. Is that enough mileage to get an accurate reading?
